OUR STORY

Resolute, The Almighty saw fit that the three of us would become brothers (in-law). Similarly, the vision for Shogun West was revealed to us during a road trip on a mid November day in 2021. Grounded in faith, we went to work prayerfully seeking confirmation and taking steps to explore the viability of opening our very own Jiu Jitsu school. 7 months later, what started off as a bunch of dreams ricocheting around the SUV on a drive home from Pennsylvania, by the grace of God, took root on the west side of Rochester, New York - in Gates. We pray that our core values grounded in Jesus, family, and humility shine through in the way we conduct our business and pass along our knowledge to you and your family. Should you choose to train with us, know that although we take the responsibility of instructing serious, our relationship with you is paramount to anything we could teach.
